Was great to receive issue #1...it felt like a visit with a friend...look forward to checking out everything included. Hope you all are doing well...miss you here on the Philly-side, of course.

Love this cause, and donated some kid mysteries I liked recently (including one of my own--figured this was a good a time as any :-). Really glad you're doing this. What a great way to remember Evie. Also: love the new logo.

Are there special books you are looking for? Should there be exclusions?

Any book at all, just so long as it is in new condition! Thank you, Michelle.

Excellent first newsletter and believe me, I’ve read my share lately! My son donated a crate full of books to Evie’s amazing project 3 years ago. (I believe we share a genius hairdresser in LA…) I think we know more than a few people in comics & Phila. In 1989, I was there too! Congrats on the launch expect additional books to be donated within the next few weeks. Best, Shelly

MBTB is using my donation to fill in and buy some books that don’t get donated, but Harriet the Spy, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, and Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators series bring back fond memories. Also the Mad Scientist Club series.
