this is a horror/sci-fi/crime/mystery/record book/record store that has hosted some cool signings i've been to. cynthia pelayo, stephen graham jones etc... turn-outs can be small but it's the right audience and they probably already carry your books
city lit
nice indie store though they don't lean much into crime/mystery. they don't do a ton of signings but when they do they're often a big deal. went to a neil young signing there a few years ago.
Duane, I'd just like to encourage you to set more books in Philadelphia. I understand why it might feel weird, having moved away. But I just read Lion and Lamb and Canary and it was such fun to have books set here. I read a ton of mysteries and thrillers, and it was so nice to be able to really truly envision where characters were, be it in Rittenhouse Square, the Melrose, etc. There are so few books set here and yet it's such an interesting setting.
Thank you, Brian! I do have at least one more Philly book in me. But who am I kidding? I think I'll always be writing about my hometown in one way or another.
I'm reiterating my invite to St. Louis (I'm sure you could add it right along with Chicago.)
St. Louis County Public Library (or St. Charles) hosts a ton of author events, but the Novel Neighbor and Left Bank Books also host them (usually in collaboration with the public library.) Recently talked to Megan Abbott about you at one of these. :-)
Happy holidays, safe travels, can’t wait for the new book👍🏻
Same to you, Frank!

Let’s be honest, we’re all sort of addicted to this unique (okay, who the hell are we kidding-weird) place.
Hooray for the vampire line!

Would love to see you.
But congratulations either way. Can't wait.
I haven't been to St. Louis in forever! I would love to come back.
We'd love to have you! But realistically you're not missing all that much. Except the zoo's pretty good.
I guess the addendum to this is if you do add any dates, you're going to have to post an updated schedule so we don't miss it.
Look forward to the new book Duane - if you ever want to come to the west coast of Canada, we’d love to have you!
I would love that! I'm going to work on that one.
Vancouver Island baby! We have some bookstores and comic stores that would love to have you.
Pre ordered and cannot wait to read it. Welcome back buddy. I’ve missed your books.
Thank you so much, Mike!
Hey, just got a message from Amazon, I’ll get the new book today, can’t wait brother👍🏻
